A few months ago Vuze started having some serious trouble getting inbound connections... My internal net topology is complicated so I finally decided to try some basics.
summary: I am not seeing open ingress by default on my fully routed bolehvpn connections.
1: I created a windows 7 vm.
2: I added two nics each connected to my "10 space" router. Each gets an ip correctly.
3: I installed the latest bolehvpn client.
4: I wrote a simple http wcf listener on port 8080
5: I connect to a fully routed server (Sweden, lux, etc).
6: I run the listener
7: I test the listener (ie) on both internal ip's to confirm bindings to multiple nics
8: I test the listener on the bolehvpn ip:port and... fail to get routed to the listener.
the vm is not running a firewall.
Thus I am left questioning the default port mappings of our connections.
I also note that icmp is trapped before my bolehvpn client since ping continues to succeed even after I disconnect.
Were default port mappings changed a few months ago and/or are we not getting raw routing?
Thank you for your help, in advance!
