Dear RAN,

I was about to donate too last month but i had to use my money on something else, and tonight i see from the conversation, i hope you understand that, Reuben want is that you gave him a quotation of the items you want to buy, is not really difficult, all you need to do is ask the sale person to list out the item price of your purchase including any shipment so that Reuben can make the transfer money to you.

Please "ask" for the receipt since this is normal in any occasion of purchasing, and the receipt is for proof of purchasing that will elighten donators that you are seeking help ..... .

I have no objections to making my portion available to RAN whenever she wants it, but I also understand Reuben's standpoint, so i will leave it up to him for the final decision. I just want it known that I donated my portion in good faith that RAN needs it, and I will not hold anyone responsible if anything goes awry. And yes, the majority rule is fair.

This really should not be an issue.

As far as procurement from 'corporate funds", Reuben is absolutely spot on.

I understand that this may be perceived negatively by the other party concerned as it may seem an extra hurdle to overcome at this most difficult of time.

In my opinion it is better that all due diligence and corporate governance is covered before making payment to third parties. This covers the asses of all concerned.

I understand that this may appear to add unnecessary levels of complexity but the steps are relatively easy to achieve and all will be happy with outcomes.

Please obtain 3 quotes for each product required and submit them for consideration and then a purchase order can be raised with the supplier and deliver made.

All bases covered and integrity for all parties remains intact.

I don't mind either way she gets the funds in cash or payments being made on her behalf for medication/operations what sort. But Reuben its your call on how you want to proceed forward with this. I'm in either way you choose. I also think it best not to preach to others what they should or should not do.
