Setting up BolehVPN to be foolproof
« on: March 27, 2013, 12:31:59 AM »
Is there any way to setup BolehVPN with utorrent, so that there is no possible way of exposing your IP? Right now, I run Fully-routed, but the problem is that it seems like BolehVPN disconnects occasionally, or if my computer accidently falls asleep, and I start it back up, it will say 'connected' but it really won't be. I want a foolproof method of setting up utorrent so that there is no way that a download will start without beind cloaked.

If I setup the proxy version, will utorrent still download if the proxy is down?

Does anybody have a way of setting this up so that there is no possible way that you can download anything without being cloaked?

Thanks!

If you wish to use the FullyRouted servers, we recommend setting up firewall rules to block your programs from using your normal connection in the event the VPN drops. Guide to doing so here, http://www.bolehvpn.net/forum/index.php?topic=6621.0 using Comodo firewall, which is free.

For the Proxied connection, then no uTorrent will not use your normal connection in the event the VPN drops. Make sure you set up all the settings in uTorrent as per our guide though.
