NAT Problem - on a Fully Routed Canada server - - NC, USA
« on: January 25, 2013, 11:56:24 AM »
I am using updated Windows GUI v2.1.1 and Vuze V4.8.1.2 all of sudden I have a NAT problem reported in Vuze. I also use a Motorola Surfboard extreme cable modem wireless router SBG6580.
I have tried everything. Any suggestions? Is it better to use a proxyserver is so how do i configure it with updated version of Vuze.

I also use Checking installed tap driver...

Run the GUI as Admin and try again. If you get the firewall issue use the fullyrouted-lux / swiss servers.

GUI always ran in admin mode. However, I changed to Sweden server and no NAT issue however, download speeds are no significantly reduced. To try to improve the situation I am now only using windows firewall and also added exception for this program just in case. Do you have any remedies to re-continue and use the Fully Routed Canada servers?
On the side note, VUZE in setup ask me what my incoming TCP port should be [currently 6881] and incoming UDP port [currently 6881] would this cause any issues?

Hmm. Is the NAT issue affecting your download speed on the Canada server? If it isn't then perhaps just keep using that server, the NAT issue should be due to using a VPN. You won't get this error on the FullyRouted-luxembourg / switzerland servers because we have all ports opened on these servers.

It does effect download speed in canada server. it will download but a speeds of 1.5k/b vs now on fullyrouted-sweden server am back to average 599.k/bs.

Ive tested by seeding alot more my download speed as significantly increased..
