As of late, there have been loads of copyright infringement cases in the western world.
From Torrent Freak(http://torrentfreak.com/category/legal-issues/ (http://torrentfreak.com/category/legal-issues/)), the news have are cropping up with alarming frequency.
It is high time users take precaution on their privacy to prevent any legal entanglement related to their filesharing activities.
I have found several website which may help gauge and safeguard our privacy on the internet.
1. checkmytorrentip.com (http://checkmytorrentip.com) to confirm your torrent client is not leaking your IP address
2. Steps on security for torrent clients using Windows 7 firewall

3. Download Peerblock http://www.peerblock.com/releases (http://www.peerblock.com/releases) to "blocks "known bad" computers from accessing yours."
If anyone has any helpful privacy tips, I hope you can share it here.
As they say, better be safe than sorry

I thought the ip leaks using openvpn only happens with IPv6 (those using Vista or Win7 only)

No ideas on that.
But better to be safe than sorry.
