Hey Guys,
Really interested in your services so far, would like to continue w/some questions:
Privacy Policy/TOS: Just curious to Boleh's position on their clients Privacy and their personal information. What would it take for Boley to surrender their user's information to Law Enforcement? Would you instill active logging at request OR court order by LE?
Also, what does Boleh Log, if anything?
Secondly, is there a way to pay anonymously if you do not live in Malaysia? Can we mail payment to keep things anonymous?

Hey a good question.
I'll draw up a proper TOS and privacy policy but basically we will not instil active logging since
1) defeats the point of privacy
2) not practical with the amount of volume we generate since it'll just kill all our servers
The laws in relating to VPN/TOR providers are still murky and from a law enforcement point of view there are a lot of other easier fish to fry. But in the case of a court order, we may just have to shut down the server since active logging is not practical.
What kind of mail payments? Generally if we can receive the money, we don't have an issue.
BolehVPN just keeps the regular system logs. We do not log what a user downloads though of course we do retain a system log that shows username and time connected which is cleared off every 2-3 days. The username on its own does not identify you.
Our customer data is stored in a separate location altogether and is not synced with the VPN servers. If you use an anonymous e-mail...and don't specify your real name then your anonymity is pretty secure since we can't really hand over things that we don't know.
