Proxy = Safe Enough for P2p?

Hi,

I'm currently using Fully Routed method for my bittorrent download.
However, due to its nature, the speed is pretty slow for my internet speed.
100-200KB/S on a 20mb line.

I did some readings on your proxy setup for Utorrent and other guides,
and it looks like properly setup Proxy will not reveal my IP address whiling using BT.
Is this true?

Then, in what situation would you be using Fully Routed if Proxy doesn't reveal IP either?

Does the torrent you have have a good seeder/peer ratio?
