BTW if can add extra SATA slots, how do I place the extra hdds? I got 4 SATA and 1 IDE piled up together now. Is there any external casing that can hold and connect the 4 units together sort like external hdds with usb link to my pc? I would like to use them as backup units. Data transfer rate will be slow, no other choice.

You can buy external casings/adapters for the drives. Buy adapters if you plan on switching them often; casings if you want them to look "organized". :)

Edit: If you want all 4 "together", it's gonna cost you a lot; buying single casings/adapters will be wayyy cheaper.
