Password sent via email

I just signed up for bolehvpn and noticed my bolehvpn Username and Password were emailed to me in the welcome email. Is that a secure way to send my Username and Password to me?

Yes, as long as your email account security is maintained. Thus, you should always make sure you do not use the same password for your email as you use on other sites.

I had read an website where they were saying sites should never use email for sending sensitive data, especially passwords.
