Some entity is attacking these sites and now have hired companies to track down torrents and record shares.... are we safe? Article here on the article on the "Anti-Pirates"

Question now is, are we safe from these anti-pirates? Especially for those of us in the USA.

You're not safer using Usenet if you're using US services like Giganews.
That company also gets DMCA notices and closes offender's accounts.
I guess it's the same as Vpns : use servers based in p2p friendly countries.
