« on: July 23, 2009, 03:29:40 PM »
hello guys..do you all still remember a game named "1942" on the old nintendo system? the game is about we piloting a plane/jet and the view is only from 180 degrees above (looking downwards from the sky) blowing up and shooting everything in front of us..such games are still around in arcades at shopping malls..i am looking for those games on pc but i dont know any..can anyone recommend? thanks..

From my NeoGeo emulator list, I have 1941 - Counter Attack (2 versions), 1944 - The Loop Master (2 versions) and 19xx - The War Against Destiny (5 versions). I play them extensively (draining plenty of coins at those arcades) when I am still a snot-nosed brat, but is there a 19xx game on a SNES? I am not really sure.

Just download a CPS2 emulator at http://cps2shock.retrogames.com/ (or you can try others) and then download 19xx - The War Against Destiny at http://cid-94cc264fce430b66.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/19xx.zip (this is US version - you shurely do not want Japanese version unless you understand the language).

You should be able to find the whole 5GB of NeoGeo games in a torrent somewhere in Demonoid.

Or HERE for quick play. Absolute time killer.

ps: Much prefer FIRE SHARK for sega genesis. Have that fire shot in MAX is just goddamn awesome.
