Google shows my true IP address?
« on: August 04, 2013, 10:07:52 PM »
Hi there!

I just subscribed and I'm a complete noob about VPNs.  So... I searched "my ip" on Google, and it showed my true IP address.  When I went to a site like whatismyipaddress.com, it showed the IP addy in my Boleh client.  I'm curious as to why Google would show my real one.  I've subscribed to download torrents privately and I want to be sure that it's working as it should be.  Any answers would be great!  Thanks :)

Could you enclose your VPN logs? Also if you did not enable DNS protection, there might be dns leaks. Try clear your cookies and such as well befores earching on google.

Hi team,

Just like the original post, I just signed up to Bolehvpn and experienced similar. I also google my IP add and it actually printed my actual IP with my vpn turned on. When I went to a site like whatismyipaddress.com, it showed the IP addy in my Boleh client.

Please advise.

Cheers,
B

Please enclose your logs from the BolehVPN client's Log tab. Try visiting www.myip.dk and see what IP address you get.
