Need to buy new modem. Need some help

I need to buy new modem, As i know, have to use manual dial-up modem if i using vpn account to download movies and not the wifi modem issit? if so which brand manual dial-up modem available in market now, mine already hit by lighting and now need to buy new want.
pls help me.  ???  :-\

Movies on dailup? lol

Do you mean an actual "dailup" modem?


I managed to download about 100 GBs of video over dialup over the course of a few years, but I was VERY PATIENT. lol

I think he meant like a direct connection rather than a router connection.

i go with tp-link ..a bit hard to configure at first but stable
cheap and if i remember correctly it comes with 2 years warranty

My Netgear WNR2000 just arrived in the mail yesterday. Gonna try it out once the Optus guy comes over to install my ADSL. :)

I had a Belkin Wireless-N at home in Malaysia. Pretty decent. Will definitely compare these two entry level N300 routers.
