Been considering my options. What are your thoughts on the Nokia equivalent? the E61 or something.

Full keypad devices are wonderful things. They are large, but after using a full keypad, you'd never like a normal one again.

That is, until you lose one with all your important data inside.

So, yes, go for a full keypad device, but figure out a way not to lose it.

Yes but how about your preference between a Blackberry and a E61?

E61's Symbian can do more stuff. Push Email is not that important to me.

Maybe for you, but I'm in front of my desktop most of the time.

*However, widescreen resolution may take some getting used too. It felt a bit funny at first. Look at my review if you will. You know which website to check.

Both have push email. But the Berry is more focused on it and therefore slightly better in that respect. E61 push email is 3rd party provided even though its built in to the device.

right. push email pumps it to your phone directly. 3G can also be used to check, and so can GPRS.

However, if you have dumb-ass friends who like to send you large files, then you might end up paying a lot more since tele is charged by packet transferred. You need to look for the setting that DLs text only to your phone.

BBerry is more corporate, so if you are implementing a company system, then BBerry is the better option because of its support for its own custom suite of  biz applications. The Nokia is more of a private user thing, since you can customise it as you wish and have access to loads of 3rd-party apps, not all of which might look nice or work because of the difference from the regular Symbian screen.

Check with Digi is best way to solve your problem. Or with the dealer you bought your phone from. I dont think you need push email.

Just access manually each time you feel like checking emails, and ignore the email thing when you are busy.

OR, you can go bother the nice lady here: http://www.digi.com.my/support/dchat/index.do :)
