Any video to avi programs

Hi anyone knows any program to convert any video files to avi?

I have been using alltoavi but would like to know some alternatives to it.

Although I haven't used it in a while, Media Coder was what I used back when I was using Windows. It could handle lots of different file-types.

I use this program to convert DVDs to Xbox360 compatible AVI
http://www.autogk.me.uk/

I've also used handbrake - but I didn't find the results as dependable as AGK

Format Factory - http://www.formatoz.com/ which uses open source video conversion tools like ffmpeg
