Can't connect
« on: June 29, 2014, 07:31:36 PM »
Had been recommended this service by another user although I've had a lot of trouble getting it to work - more often than not it doesn't.

I mainly want the service for the FullyRouted (uTorrent use) and occasionally Surfing Streaming option (BBC iPlayer).

Whenever I tried to connect to the FullyRouted all services upon an apparent successful connection the GUI would still show my actual public IP address, and not that of a different global location. The only way I found to get around this was constant reconnecting or completely closing the service and re-opening it. Doing this I had success at hiding my IP about one time in ten.

Same situation for the Surfing Streaming.

However, today I am unable to connect at all and always get an error message at 10% of the way through connecting as follows;

Default Gateway: 192.168.3.1

SUCCESS: download 1092 bytes update information to local.

I have made no changes to any settings at all - what's happened to my TAP adaptor(s), and how can I ensure a connection every time I connect?

Hi there!

Could you email us at support@bolehvpn.net about this? Let us know your OS, 64 / 32 bit version, as well as if you are using any antivirus / firewalls or other interfering programs.

Also let us know if you have run the BolehVPN client as admin.

Hi there,

The issue in your logs is actually an issue with your TAP adapter. Please try a quick reinstall of the client. Alternatively, make sure that your antivirus and firewall programs are set to ignore the client completely.
