Hi,

I wonder what speed are those who are using 4mb Streamyx get using BolehVPN?
When I switched to 4mb from 1mb, I used to get 400+ KB/s speed consistence whole day.Than i got throttled.
Switched to Boleh VPN and can only get speeds from 80 to 200 KB/s up down up down not stable.

Hi there,

What are the seeder / peer numbers on your torrents, and where are you getting them from? Which of our servers are you connecting to?

Could you try this? Connect to FullyRouted-All, then load up this test torrent http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.10/ubuntu-14.10-desktop-i386.iso.torrent

Let me know what speeds you get. Also please post the logs from the BolehVPN client.

Hi there,

Are you on wireless? What modem / router are you using?

Coul you disconnect from the BolehVPN client, then go to www.myip.dk? What IP do you get?

The errors in your log show that you are losing your connection, could be either an issue with your hardware or with Streamyx. Please try the FullyRoutedTCP servers and see if these give any improvement.

Hi,
I am NOT on wireless.The modem I am using is TMNET's modem W7100N, the silver color wireless modem without antenna.
After disconnecting from Bolehvpn client, i get ip 115.134.149.157

Tried FullyRoutedTCP servers and downloaded ubuntu speed is 40 to 80 kB/s only.

Try rebooting your modem, then check if your IP changes. You want the first two blocks of numbers to change, e.g from 115.134 to 60.50

Just to clear up your statement in your original post, are you on a 4 mbps connection or a 1 mbps connection?

I see. You may need to contact Streamyx as you might have been miscapped. Tell them that you've run multiple speed tests and are unable to break 100 kiloBytes / second on downloads. Ask for a technician or someone to come out, you may have to push pretty hard.

I'm having the same issue. But mine is on 8mbps. I have tested before and after VPN on few speed test sites.

Before VPN : 8mbps+ latency 35ms
After VPN connected : 4mbps latency 660ms+

latency based on pinging 208.67.222.222 and 8.8.8.8

Thus, i'm having issue playing 1080p movies on popcornt1me. My download speed on 400kb/sec

i'm not using unifi but streamyx. I'm using fully routed-ALL and i've tried Netherland, France, Germany and Luxemburg is slightly faster than the rest. And as for HongKong, i couldn't connect at all. VPN shows UNKNOWN ERROR.
