Title: Any true encrypted cloud services out there?
Post by: Shadowfox on May 05, 2017, 10:07:06 AM
Hey guys I have a question for anyone out there who may have an answer to this. I know by their very nature a cloud server is not secure not because it can't be but because of the limitations of the company who provide the service. A lot of these so called "private/ we won't reveal your identity/we can't see your files" companies still have back doors in place, just in case law enforcement sends them a request for whatever reason they need to see a users files. So my question is if it does exist, have you found a cloud service company out there that will not reveal anything regardless if law enforcement asks, because they themselves can't even access the info? Sort of like the policy that Protonmail has.

Look at this article it's a few years old, but check out the company SpiderOak which is mentioned in the article.
