Title: BBC Radio 2 programmes
Post by: junglemelon on January 17, 2011, 03:36:21 PM
Trying to get some regular radio broadcasts on
Friday Night is Music Night.
Best hope is able to download by torrents

Friday Night is Music Night is the world's
longest-running orchestral live music programmes on radio,
featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra and broadcast from
locations throughout the UK.

I use to enjoy listening to it way back in my school
days in UK. That was some 30+ years ago.

Could someone help to request this in IPT?
Thanks

you could try thebox.bz - they have a lot of radio rips there, and as far as I know signups are not closed yet :)

Tried that before.
But it's very hard to maintain Ratio requirement.
Thanks anyway

I'm on a 1mbit connection and I don't have much trouble reseeding. Just use as many of the freeleech torrents as you can. Then again, I don't download much so I can  afford to spend a couple of days downloading freeleech torrents just to seed back.

Thank u Chris for ur suggestion.
My thebox.bz account has been dead
for quite some time.
If someone can download and
reseed through IPT that would
be nice.

Well, I have some ratio to spare. Will download for you and upload either on rapidshare or IPT.

Hi!
Is this what you want?
http://www.rapidshare.com/files/443252332/Friday_Night_is_Music_Night_-_14_01_2011_b00x97zk_default.mp3 (http://www.rapidshare.com/files/443252332/Friday_Night_is_Music_Night_-_14_01_2011_b00x97zk_default.mp3)
I got it using get_iplayer, but the connection in Malaysia is so bad that I finally got a Virtual Private Server in the UK and run it from there...
anyway, I can sometimes download for you if you need, but once the connection gets better!

Thank u Chris and guivega for helping me out.
Downloaded file and confirmed ok.
If I am not asking too much please
keep them coming whenever you
guys got the time.
Past and coming eposides would be
OK.
If there are better than 128kbps MP3
files please get them.
Once again a BIG thanks.

It's one of the easier sites to get huge ratio bonus actually.  Granted I do have a seedbox, but as Chris mentioned, they constantly have freeleech files to help people with their ratios.  They're also not as stringent as before - not like in the old days when they would delete/suspend accounts for low ratios.  As long as ratios aren't ridiculously low, I haven't seen any admins get involved.

IPT would be more convenient.
Once again thanks.

The bolehvpn account doesn't have uploader rights on IPT. I guess I'll upload to Rapidshare / Hotfile instead?

Hello Chris
It's better than MP3 if I play it in my Desktop.
In my case I usually listen to it in my car player.
So MP3 is more convenient. No big issue here
as I can convert this to MP3 easily.

Uhm, not sure what you meant by that, I'm pretty sure I uploaded a mp3 file? Another torrent should be uploaded shortly.

Sorry for the confusion Chris.
My reply was in reponse to the 28-01-2011
programme in .aac format.

Strange I didn't notice your posting for
the Apr.30.2010 episode in MP3 format
until now.

Anyway thanks again for your time.
Greatly appreciated for you work.

Gentlemen,  I have to thank all of you.  Junglemelon for initiating the request and the kind gents for making this possible.  Been enjoying the program in me car.  Sure beats the daily yawn and I'm getting my daily fix of flash back.

Again, many thanks.

ps. To all of you who celebrate .....,  A Happy Chinese New year, Reuben, Chris & Boleh staff in the background. :)
