« on: February 13, 2009, 02:03:19 AM »
Halo, anyone got any idea how well (or if) openVPN works on windows server 2003 standard 32bit?

Finally got my dell poweredge working, wanna dump torrent duties to it so my nice desktop doesnt have to run 24/7 anymore, cos as far as I know that isn't good for desktops

Thanks a lot! I'll go look for the patch. Think it's somewhere in one of my hard disks...
Wanted to install win2k8-ee but the server specs are pretty low.

Dual Xeon 3.0 (1066FBS)
1GB RAM - DDR2 400mhz

1GB RAM oni, die la if install win2k8

w2k3 should be good enough as your torrentbox

Yes it should though why not consider OpenSUSE 11.1?

installation is even easier than windows

I guess cos the server and Win2k3 license was given to me, and comes with 5 CAL. A bit of a waste if I dont use it. Must be my wife's kiam siap-ness rubbing off...
