DNS Leak
« on: August 27, 2014, 12:53:35 AM »
I've just become aware of the security problems that can come from a DNS Leak.  Therefore, I did a DNS leak test via https://dnsleaktest.com/index.html.  The result shows a list of Google IP addresses from all over the world.  In  my Boleh GUI settings, I've placed a check mark to Enable DNS Leak Protection.  But the leak test still shows all these Google servers.  Is there a problem here?

I doubt the Google DNS servers are your ISP's DNS servers so you should be good. Just to be sure though you can disconnect from Boleh VPN, and run the DNS leak test again so you can see what DNS servers your ISP uses.  Those DNS servers detected when you are not connected to Boleh are the ones your ISP use. When you run the DNS Leak Test again when connected to Boleh it should show different DNS servers than those of your ISP.  If it shows the same DNS servers when connected, and disconnected from Boleh then you have a DNS leak. I hope that makes sense.
