Here’s another submission taken in Toronto Canada with the CN Tower in the background!
Some quick random facts:
- CN Tower used to be the world’s tallest free-standing structure and world’s tallest tower. It held both records for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower.
- The words “CN” originally stood for Canadian National, the railway company that built the tower though it is now considered to be the “Canadian National” Tower despite everyone referring it to as the CN Tower.
- In 1995, the CN Tower was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
- According to Forbes, Toronto is the tenth-most economically powerful city in the world and one of the fastest growing among the G7 nations, whilst PwC ranks the city as the world’s second-best “metro powerhouse”.
