uTorrent 2.2.1 Beta recommended. Improves privacy and SOCKS support

After testing we can now recommend uTorrent 2.2.1 beta as our torrent client of choice for Windows user. Our installation guide has been updated with much more simplified settings.

uTorrent 2.2.1 has some improved features including Privacy features which prevents connections from going through if you are disconnected from the VPN. Previous verions of uTorrent had sometimes leaked information where the data did not pass through our SOCKS proxy. As such we highly recommend the use of uTorrent 2.2.1 Beta until the final is released.

When you call fresh install removing setting, will this remove torrent data too ?
If I’m in the middle of downloading a torrent, will this mess it up

      Hi Prasad!

This will remove torrent data but not the file u have partially downloaded.

All u have to do is redl the .torrent file and then point it to where u saved it previously upon which it will rehash (recheck) and resume.

In the previous versions of utorrent, the internet would disconnect after a couple of minutes (pretty sure you’re aware of what i’m talking about) Well i haven’t really gotten around that problem as yet, could you guarantee that the same problem won’t arise with the latest version of utorrent if i install it?
    Thanks alot.
