Streamyx Slowdowns

There seems to be an immense slowdown in international connectivity for Streamyx users. TM has not posted any news on this matter nor do the guys at 100 seem to know what’s happening either. Rest assured that you are not alone in your pain :P.

  1. edwin74 says:

yeah… had some slowdown… but not too bad speeds… but the weird thing is my utorrent had a NETWORK “!” no incoming connection but was still downloading 99kbps…

  2. aaa666 says:

    lucky you…

a few technical staff(not streamyx but under sub-contract) said that this will last for quite some time.

  3. someone says:

it’s horrible. Pal says some ip ranges still work(the really obscure ones.) but the ones that don’t work have it bad. It seems like everything aside from http is QoSed to hell, with the connections created forced to time out by the hands of the isp.
It’s been like this for a LONG time now.

  4. monkeyboy says:

    Hail TM!

  5. Norm says:

Aiyoh, TM… why do you always slow us all down? I see our northern and southern neighbors, some who have very unstable governments, get excellent Internet connection. Seriously, do you want me calling you guys every time and screaming like a madman on a roof? I think my calls have become more of a harassment than a complaint. This would not happen if you could… I don’t know… provide me with the service we asked for and don’t be a Malaysian about it.!

“Tak ape… akan fix punya…” Continue this tak apa attitude and let’s see where the world takes us.

We want to make a nuclear reactor… If we cannot even maintain a communication system such as this, what makes you think we are able to harness nuclear energy? It may not be the same thing, one might say but, if maintenance in any service and utility sector is always failing, I just cannot fathom if anything bad were to happen because the managers, the workers and the higher ups are not doing their part of the bargain.

    In conclusion, F you TMNet.
