Security Update of OpenVPN

To all our users, between December 2016 and April 2017, OpenVPN 2.4.0 was audited for security vulnerabilities and the primary findings were two remote denial-of-service vulnerabilities. These have been fixed in OpenVPN 2.4.2.

We have updated our GUI to the latest OpenVPN 2.4.2 and would like to advise everyone who is using our GUI, to update it the latest version. Please login to your account and download the latest version of GUI, the update affected both MacOS and Windows Operating System.

For Android and iOS users, please update to the latest version of the OpenVPN Access or OpenVPN for Android from Google’s Playstore or Apple’s App Store respectively. We will be providing the update of our custom Android application with the next 5 days.

For Linux and routers firmware, please do an update and check that you are using the latest OpenVPN 2.4.2. If you are still using an older version after the update, please contact the respective Linux and firmwares developer for assistance or contact our support center to assist you.

The full list of the change logs can be found here.

Nice to be advised what’s going on…but it would be a darn sight more effective if the notice was received in advance of the interruptions instead of after them!

Interruptions on July 19th-21st….notification received in the afternoon of July 22nd.

Hi, is the custom version OpenVPN for Android ready? It’s been quite a long time.

I just checked the download link at Clients Installation page, it’s still v0.6.64.
