We are encountering a problem with credit card payments via the MolPay channel. Credit card payments will still be accepted via Paypal. Also online banking options for Malaysian customers still works through MolPay.
The issue stems from an issue with the payment processor itself whereby their current bank that accepts credit card payments have changed their requirements giving MolPay a 7 day notice to comply. One of the requirements imposed by the bank is for merchants under MolPay to submit additional documentation regarding BolehVPN from company statutory forms to inane requests like a photo of my current workstation as proof that we exist. Rest assured that no documentation regarding customer details are being submitted.
We have not been given an ETA on resolution of this and we have submitted all relevant documents from our end. We are exploring alternatives and thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter.
Meanwhile, you are welcome to pay via other methods such as Paypal (which still accepts credit cards), BitCoin (which is an anonymous virtual currency), Liberty Reserve and for Malaysian customers online banking, direct bank-ins and cash deposits.
