DL using megaupload, rapidshare, etc
« on: December 10, 2007, 02:34:04 PM »
Hi,

Usually the chinese stuff dl method is thru direct dl like megaupload, rapidshare, etc but I can never download anything using this method. Either the slot is taken or it ages to dl something that. Most of the time, it just get stuck and nver move.

Is there something I do wrongly. I still prefer BT, but damn, why do they have to use DDL.

Megaupload = Use FireFox then add a add-on call MegaUpload SX > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3843
Note: Only works for removing slots, not bandwidth limit.

Rapidshare = Try Cogent or Level(3) mirror.

Both = If you get bandwidth limit wait, just change IP.

The speed are depends on your connectivity quality.

Download the software at this link:

http://www.rapget.com/

Paste the Megaupload or Rapidshare links into the application.

Click start & wait for it to download the files. It takes some time if you are using the free method (No rapidshare or Megaupload premium account) but I can download about 12 100mb files a day, sometimes a little more than that  ;) :) Hope the info helps  :)

Everything is safer with VPN...
