If your download speed shows 325 and 106 that's in kilobits per second. There are 8 bits to a byte. Means 40-50 kB (kilobytes) per second is the max your line can get.

That's TM's fault or that you have been miscapped or that you are having severe problems or the other computer in your house is sucking up bandwidth.

i see. well, i guess there's nothing much i can do about it then. i could prob ask tmnet to check the speed in my area, and hope that i can get around it.

sorry, one last question...
does changing the modem help?
i'm now using a separate modem and a router.
Was thinking of changing it to the D Link modem+router...

dont really think so unless your router cant cope with p2p
what u need right now is to call tmnet and complain

This is an isolated problem for you if you are getting such a low speedtest result.
