uTorrent 2.2.1 stable is out

The new uTorrent 2.2.1 has been finally released! We highly recommend this update for all our users especially those who use it on PublicTracker/PrivateTracker configurations.

In a nutshell, the new version offers the following improvements over uTorrent 2.2

  • Fixed Wine support
  • Better support for atypical connections (such as VPNs) with Path MTU discovery
  • Fixed SOCKS proxy support
  • DHT security improvements

    Ohh man this version just hang after such a long time in use, hopefully it was just a fluke.

    Installed but the speed to very slow and most of the time is 0 kb for download…… Anyone have this problem or is setting issue?

    There setting you need to uncheck to get full speed, there are listed in the utorrent forum.
    Looks like uttorrent just hang again.
    1 week time interval
