VPN long term payment plans introduced. We are now confident enough to launch long term plans!
The two new packages are as follows:
180 Days = RM135
365 Days = RM255
These have all been updated on our Ordering Page.
To be fair to our existing users who have renewed recently on the 125 day package, for those who have renewed a 125 day package prior to 18 January 2010, they are entitled to top up the corresponding amount to take advantage of the new plans.

Great news.
In comparison to 1 month scheme that’s a saving of RM45 for 180 days and RM110 for 365 days.

I hope this doesn’t affect the cash flow too much.
good news for subscribers though.

Great news guys…..particularly for those of us who subscribe to more than just a single BolehVPN account. This will cut down on the monthly renewals we need to do currently.

sswolf: Shouldn’t be a problem as we find that many subscribers are lazy to upgrade after they expire and take a few days to resubscribe so in a way it’s a win for both customer and provider. We have less admin work, customer enjoys cheaper rates and less hassle

hehe. cool. I am one of those lazy bums.
one of my account expires next month and now I don’t have to keep track until a year later. haha.

Should not affect cash flow.. See how companies like Touch-n Go and the telcos with their prepaid cards make big money.
You prepay them for a service you have yet to utilize and they roll your money. Collecting money weekly or monthly is a big hassle and involves a lot of admin work.
Having said that, I am one of those lazy bums who have been pestering Reuben for longer term packages. Having been a subscriber for many years I do not forsee stopping his service anytime soon and will purchase the one year plan as soon as my present one expires (or maybe sooner if I can drag my old bones to do some work)
And if I happen to die before the one year is up maybe Reuben can think of what one JPJ director said when he was asked whether the driving license renewal fee can be reimbursed if a person dies. I liked his answer…
“Ask that person to come and see me personally and I will refund him his money”
