There appears to be a proportion of users who have lost connectivity to certain of our servers and are getting high intermittent connections.
I have looked into this matter and it seems that Streamyx has issues with their routing today since this morning resulting in even some international sites refusing to load or timing out as if they aren’t there.

Looks like there is a serious problem with streamyx today. My 2mbps fixed IP line could not go to Yahoo mail and my company website in Germany today.

I’ve been refused access to the yahoomail and facebook login pages.. What is this ?? All other sites worked well, albeit a bit slow.. The irritating bit is the fact that my colleague who is sitting just a sneeze away can access to both with no problems. What is wrong? We’re on the same network, using the same gateway and using the same streamyx connection. This is beyond logic, mann..

Yup.. I couldn’t even connect to facebook! But luckily.. We can try to use public DNS Servers to help us.. Here’s a list if you have problems when browsing foreign sites.. Probably Streamyx’s DNS Servers were clogged up?
