Genesis and Entourage to be terminated and replaced with a Dual Xeon in Canada

Due to feedback from our users, we are terminating Genesis and Entourage and will be replacing it with a Dual Xeon 2.4 Ghz with a dedicated 50 mbps port. We have found that the Canadian servers have given the best overall bandwidth.

We have not decided whether to make this private tracker only or public tracker friendly as well.

Crysis will remain so those who have good routing to UK1 will still be able to use it.

Cherokee Installation Complete

As some of you have noticed, Cherokee has been brought back online thanks to the efforts of Pit Boss :D . The HTTP proxy on this is still not functional yet as it appears that the private proxy server we use has updated their software changing its setup and configuration so some time is needed to get to grips with it.

Will update when this is complete.

BolehGame Server Mods to incur a surcharge

Mods for servers need to be requested in the following manner:

  1. Requested when ordering the server (and not later on) with all necessary information (such as SteamIDS, settings, etc)
  2. Confirmation given by us that we do support the mod

Should a mod be requested at a later time halfway through the subscription, we reserve the right to incur a surcharge as we deem fit. This is due to the hours of time spent in figuring out a new mod, ensuring compatibility with the existing setup and getting everything in place.

It seems that we have many subscribers who decide to change a mod halfway through and insist that we change it for them. I have spent many hours figuring out new mods and their inter-operability. Furthermore, I have been harassed in ways that you cannot imagine and I’m frankly sick and tired of the mindset of the gaming community who demand instant 24/7 attention and tutoring on how to use their game server. That is NOT my job and I will not spend time to entertain your ignorance.

IPT Donation Target Reached

It seems that yes indeed, there is actually only a small but annoying minority that keeps on messing up the IPT account.

Many others appreciate the service and this is reflected in the very generous donations that our members have given to fund FreeLeech IPT for at least 6 months.

Special shoutouts to all the people who have made this possible and especially the following people who have made extremely generous donations of USD50.00

Users:

USD50.00 donations

  1. solbergk
  2. sandman68
  3. srichai

USD20.00-49.99

  1. urgo88
  2. adam7979
  3. NZait
  4. An Anonymous Donor (you know who you are)
  5. pangolin88
  6. Letih

Users are still welcome to donate if you wish, and the remaining funds will be either be brought forward to the next 6 months donation target.

Logged-in users to our forums can find the latest status of our donation box here.

Stop being inconsiderate

Even after reenabling IPT I have received many e-mails demanding for refunds because they saw IPT as an integral part of the service. They told me that ‘this was not the way to do business’ and that ‘this is a paid service’.

I suggest you look throughout our website and see where I actually advertised IPT as part of our service. I haven’t. This is a FREE GIFT so if you guys continue demanding from me a free gift that HAS ALREADY BEEN REENABLED, I will just switch access for the IPT account to those who donated to it. People like these are the very ones that don’t deserve access to a private tracker in the first place.

Stop being an ass. If you really like IPT, donate to it, don’t send nasty e-mails to me.

Cherokee has suffered some corruption and we are working on reinstalling the system. We expect this server to be down for about a day.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

IPT Access Restored

IPT access has been restored thanks to the helpful guys who donated!

I will not elaborate on how to get the updated details…you guys should know how!

Special props to solbergk who donated USD50.00 in one shot <3 Much respect and love.

Please note that we have now finalized our stand to maintain the IPT shared freeleech account as long as the monthly costs are covered for the anti-cheat system.

Full details can be found here. There is also a chart available that reflects the good samaritans and shows how close we are to meeting our monthly commitment goal which is USD100.00 per month.

Please make a small contribution (or a large one! ;P) to keeping this wonderful account for all of us in the BolehVPN family.

And a note to those who cheat: You will be found out soon and caught and tortured in the most horrendous fashion :P

IPT Donation for Anti Cheating System

IPT’s founder has kindly offered the following deal:

Top up existing monthly donations by USD100.00 (RM365.00) a month which will be used to pay for the following:

  1. We will still have an IPT Freeleech account to be shared with all BolehVPN customers
  2. Coding for the an anticheat system that will identify cheaters and have BolehVPN terminate their BolehVPN accounts
  3. Maintenance and administration of the anticheat system

I will still be bearing the cost of existing donations and seedbox donations to IPT however I think it is only fair that the users also contribute to this.

All I am asking is the following:

A donation of at least 1 USD a month or more to BolehVPN from users who wish to support this idea. We may decide to restrict freeleech access ONLY to donators. Ideally, enough people chip in that everyone can enjoy this.

BolehVPN will have a fixed subscription price with IPT regardless of the IPT donation amount (lesser or higher) and any excess of donations will be used to cover the following month’s commitment to IPT.

In this way the abusers will be weeded out, the service will be maintained for users (the majority of which are responsible people), and at a minimum cost to the user and BolehVPN.

Please post your thoughts on such a deal here.

Preliminary Discussion on Freeleech Accounts

How would you guys feel about paying USD6.00 a month for unlimited Free Leech? This translates to about RM22.00 a month.

You get your OWN account that NOT Shared with anyone. The normal price for this is USD25.00 so it is a DISCOUNT OF 76%. It sure beats buying a DVD from some Cap Helang store in my opinion.

I understand that for many people this is a lot of money but this is the best deal I can wrangle at this point in time and in my humble opinion is an absolute bargain. All of you guys have been spoilt by free Freeleech unfortunately and unaware of how much this usually costs per person but I can assure you that you will never get such a deal anywhere else in any other decent private tracker site.

PMing/E-mailing me Does NOT help you get your IPT Account back

In fact, it just guarantees that you won’t get any cause it categorizes you as someone who does not read instructions. The very kind of people who spoilt this account in the first place.

So Stop it.
